2014 Ram 2500 Â Features
The 2014 Ram 2500 is available in a range of different trim levels and can be outfitted with several different options packages depending on your needs. The Tradesman trim offers a manually selected transfer case, but all other models feature an automatic system. Drivers with more towing or speed requirements can upgrade to the 6.4-liter V8 or the 6.7-liter diesel inline 6 cylinder engine. Both are available mated to a six-speed automatic, but a six-speed manual is available with the Cummins engine.

The base engine manages to pump out close to 400 hp, but the higher end V8 produces 410 hp and 429 lb-ft of torque, giving you the ability to tow and haul pretty much whatever you need. The diesel engine offers 350 hp, but 660 lb-ft of torque. Towing and hauling capacity are determined by engine and transmission configuration. | Safety Safety in the 2014 Ram 2500 is good, with four-wheel antilock brakes, as well as traction and stability control. Front seat and side curtain airbags are also standard equipment here. Optional equipment includes a rearview camera, as well as power adjustable pedals and more. A tire pressure monitoring system is also standard equipment. |
