Interior

The 2014 Compass provides upscale appointments such as soft-touch materials, updated cluster design, new fabrics, detailed stitching, acoustic glass windshield, satin chrome accents and a special Compass badge. The comfortable driver's seat has available leather trim and 6-way power adjustments, and you can get heated front seats and fold-flat passenger seats with a 60/40 split design in the rear. The Compass offers a wealth of comfort and convenience features, including power sunroof, automatic temperature controls and Electronic Vehicle Information Center. Cargo space is a whopping 53.6 cubic feet with the rear seats folded flat.

Performance

The available Uconnect®  430N System keeps you in touch with the outside world via Navigation, SiriusXM Radio and Travel Link, Voice Command with Bluetooth, CD/DVD/MP3/HDD and a nine-speaker Boston Acoustic 368-watt Premium Sound System with Subwoofer and two flipdown liftgate speakers. A 3.5 mm faceplate audio jack inputs music from any source. The 6.5-inch touch screen display is intuitive and convenient. Other features include air filtering, full-length floor console, leather wrapped steering wheel and park brake handle, and outside temperature display.

Safety

Compass has over 30 available security and safety features. Airbag protection includes six advanced multi-stage bags. Specially engineered crumple zones, active head restraints, ultra-high strength steel crossbeam and side-door guard beams absorb impacts from a collision to protect the interior cabin. Electronic Stability Control corrects for over- and under-steer through throttle and brake control. The 4-Wheel Disk Anti-lock Brakes feature Break Assist and Electronic Roll Mitigation. Thieves won't be able to drive off in your 2014 Compass, thanks to Sentry Key antitheft engine immobilizer and Remote Keyless Entry with Remote Start.
